The Fourni Islands lie Southwest of Samos, and consist of three islands: Fourni, Thymaina (or Fimaina), and Ayios Minas. These islands and the islets that surround them are quintessentially Greek, and are often visited by people seeking to experience true Greece. In the fantastic little fishing village of Fourni, you will find a picturesque harbour with traditional taverna’s that serve freshly caught and prepared fish. The islands are extremely indented and so there are many peaceful bays and secluded coves to discover.
Note: This area experiences very strong winds. Safe anchorages are: Fourni Harbour, Kampi, Aspa, Pelekania & Elidaki/Marmaro, Ayios Ioannis, Kasidi, Vlichada and Vitsilia.
